前幾天在vmware裡面重灌了乙個vista的虛擬機器，當時裝得比較快，忘記設定虛擬磁碟的空間了（預設為8g），今天去虛擬機器裡面遠端除錯**的時候，虛擬磁碟急劇膨脹，後來想裝個office2007在裡面測試，系統提示磁碟空間不夠，faint，想想應該可以重新設定吧，在vmware上面找了半天沒有，難道要我重灌vista？汗，我等著除錯**啊，後來研究了下vm的幫助文件，然後去網上搜尋了點資料，然後vm早想到了，提供了乙個vmware-vdiskmanager.exe工具，位置在安裝位置和主程式同一級。這個工具的使用不難，不過提供的功能的蠻多的，沒有仔細研究，把它在控制台下直接跑一下就會列印出它的幫助文件：

usage: vmware-vdiskmanager.exe options diskname | drive-letter:
offline disk manipulation utility
options:
-c : create disk; need to specify other create options
-d : defragment the specified virtual disk
-k : shrink the specified virtual disk
-n
: rename the specified virtual disk; need to
specify destination disk-name
-p : prepare the mounted virtual disk specified by
the drive-letter for shrinking
-q : do not log messages
-r : convert the specified disk; need to specify
destination disk-type
-x : expand the disk to the specified capacity
additional options for create and convert:
-a
: (for use with -c only) adapter type (ide, buslogic o
r lsilogic)
-s
: capacity of the virtual disk
-t
: disk type id
disk types:
0 : single growable virtual disk
1 : growable virtual disk split in 2gb files
2 : preallocated virtual disk
3 : preallocated virtual disk split in 2gb files
the capacity can be specified in sectors, kb, mb or gb.
