富文字編輯器，rich text editor, 簡稱 rte, 是一種可內嵌於瀏覽器，所見即所得的文字編輯器.它提供類似於 microsoft word 的編輯功能，容易被不會編寫 html 的使用者並需要設定各種文字格式的使用者所喜愛.原理：
富文字編輯器又稱為wysiwyg(所見即所得)，其本質就是在乙個頁面元素中嵌入html**，並且這個元素可以像文件輸入框一樣進行文字的編輯，它同時還可以設定文字樣式。寫部落格的工具就是乙個功能豐富的富文字編輯器，編輯郵件以及論壇發貼都用到富文字編輯器。
