數的概念和特性
*幾個gre最常用的概念：
偶數(even number：能被2整除的整數;
奇數(odd number：不能被2整除的數;
質數(prime number：大於1的整數，除了1和它本身外，不能被其他正整數所整除的，稱為質數。也叫素數;(學過數論的同學請注意，這裡的質數概念不同於數論中的概念，gre裡的質數不包括負整數
倒數(reciprocal：乙個不為零的數為x,則它的倒數為1/x。
等差數列
gre數學中絕大部分是等差數列， ，形式主要為應用題。題目會說三年穩步增長第一年的產量是x,第三年的產量是y,問你的二年的產量。
數理統計
*眾數(mode
一組數中出現頻率最高的乙個或幾個數。
例：mode of 1,1,1,2,3,0,0,0,5 is 1 and 0。
*值域(range
一組數中最大和最小數之差。
例：range of 1,1,2,3,5 is 5-1=4
*平均數(mean 算術平均數(arithmetic mean
*幾何平均數(geometric mean
n個數之積的n次方根。
*中數(median
對一組數進行排序後，正中間的乙個數(數字個數為奇數， 或者中間兩個數的平均數(數字個數為偶數。例： median of 1,7,4,9,2,5,8 is 5 median of 1,7,4,9,2,5 is (5+7/2=6
ps:gre經常考察眾數與數的個數的積和這組數的和的大小。
*標準偏差(standard error
一組數中，每個數與平均數的差的絕對值之和，再除以這組數的個數n
例：standard error of 0,2,5,7,6 is: (|0-4|+|2-4|+|5-4|+|7-4|+|6-4|/5=2.4
*standard variation
一組數中，每個數與平均數之差的平方和，再除以這組數的個數n
例： standard variation of 0,2,5,7,6 is:

standard deviation等於standard variation的平方根
ps :gre經常讓你比較眾數或中數與數的個數的乘積和這組數的和的大小，可以舉幾個極限情況的例子驗證一下。還有一種題型是給你兩組數的平均值，方差，比較他們的中數大小;要注意中數的大小和那兩個值是沒有必然聯絡的，無法比較。

gre經常考察組和圖形，例如兩個相等的圓經過對方圓心，求外部周長;乙個正三角形中去掉三個以各頂點為圓心，周長一般為半徑的圓的以後的部分的面積。 只要熟記下列公式局可以解決：
